We’re currently hiring Line Cooks with evening and weekend availability. We’re willing to train the right candidate(s). Our Café specializes in lunch and dinner service, and Line Cooks are responsible for preparing meals according to our standard recipes, portioning ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and upholding a fully sanitized work area in our open kitchen. We take pride in our top-of-the-line kitchen equipment, allowing for fast ticket times without ever compromising the quality of our food.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare basic components of each dish on our menu using our proven recipes

• Use our serving portion sizes and all of our kitchen procedures

• Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas, and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleanliness standards

• Work with the team to do portion prep work for other shifts when needed

• Monitor product freshness and rotate out old products based on a schedule

• Must be able and willing to do dishes during your shift and clean up

 

Skills and Requirements:

• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time

• Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment

• Excellent verbal communication and organization skills

• Ability to lift 30 pounds for deliveries

• Prior knife skills and/or kitchen experience are preferred, but we will train eager candidates

• Getting along well with others in our positive work environment is a must, or do not apply

• Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends on a consistent basis

• Working in our physical setting which is a casual dining restaurant within a family entertainment center

 

Education:

• High school or equivalent (preferred)
